The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission has raised the threshold and issued a directive allowing exchange holders to extend their credit facilities to investors to their approved clients at a ratio of 1: 0.80.

“Taking into account the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic” and in the interest of investors, the directive was amended, the OSCE said.

The DSEX, the Dhaka Stock Exchange Index, closed the day at 6,699 on the last trading day on August 12, which is the all-time high since its start in 2013.
