This year, the theme of National Fisheries Week has been defined as “growing more fish, reducing unemployment”.

Jatiya Sangsad (JS) speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury is expected to inaugurate the program at the Osmani Memorial Amphitheater on August 29th.

National Fisheries Week is held annually in July, but was delayed this year due to the recent increase in Covid-19 cases across the country.
