Allrounder Mahedi Hasan played a key role in a 37-lap partnership with Shakib Al Hasan in Bangladesh’s successful 122-goal chase against Australia in the second T20I of the five-game series.
Mahedi suggested Shakib stay calm while taking chances. Their collaboration set the tone for the Tigers’ run and helped them win the Aussies match with five wickets.
The 26-year-old focused on holding back the run during powerplay with the ball.
“Most fighters want to take advantage of opportunities to make the score big during powerplays. Therefore, I always aim for bowling as many dots as possible in the powerplays,” Mahedi said.
The round also shared his experience playing with Mustafizur Rahman from age levels.
