Hezbollah says fired rockets after Israeli airstrikes - Times of India
BERITO: Hezbollah fighters say they have fired a barrage of rockets near Israeli positions near the Lebanese border on Friday, in retaliation for Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon a day earlier.
In a statement, Hezbollah said it had hit “open fields” near Israeli positions in the disputed Shebaa farm area with “dozens” of rockets. No casualties were reported.
The Israeli military says it is firing at least 10 rockets fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory, most of which were intercepted by a defensive system known as the Iron Dome. The rest of the rockets landed in the open.
Hezbollah’s Manar TV says Israeli warplanes are flying at low altitudes over southeastern Lebanon.
