    Shadman Islam and Najmul Hossain Shanto beat undefeated centuries as Bangladesh scored 284 for one before advancing to their second standings against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club half an hour before Tea on Day 4 of the emergency test.

    Sandman was out of action in 115 of the 196 deliveries – his first trial of the century – while Santo was unbeaten in 117 of 118 deliveries as Bangladesh made quick trips before shutting it down. This was the second century of the elegant left-hand tester.

    Bangladesh recorded these 284 runs in 67.4 overs with a rate of 4.19.

    The only bat removed in the second period was Saif Hasan, who fell for 95 bullets 43 from Richard Ngrava’s bowling alley.

    With a lead of 192 runs in the first period, the goal for Zimbabwe to win the test is 477 runs. They will have just over five sessions to win or force a draw on the test.
